Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information BelongLog handles when you use the public website, create an account, build an inventory, upload photos, export records, or create a private share link.
Information we collect
Google sign-in provides your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile image. We collect the rooms, item details, values, notes, tags, photos, onboarding choices, exports, and share links you choose to create.
We also record limited first-party usage events such as the route, device class, onboarding goal, and whether key setup actions were completed. These events use allowlisted fields and are not used for third-party advertising.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits and navigation. Google Analytics may receive page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, approximate location, and analytics identifiers. We do not send inventory contents or payment card details to Google Analytics, and advertising personalization signals are disabled.
How we use information
We use the information to authenticate your account, provide and secure the inventory service, enforce plan limits, generate exports, operate share links you request, diagnose failures, and improve the setup workflow.
BelongLog does not sell personal information or use inventory contents for targeted advertising.
Google account data
BelongLog requests only the OpenID, email, and basic profile scopes needed for account sign-in. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, or passwords.
BelongLog's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and service providers
Account and inventory records are stored in Cloudflare D1, and uploaded photos are stored in Cloudflare R2. Signed, HTTP-only cookies maintain your session. Google provides authentication and website analytics. Creem processes Pro checkout, recurring billing, taxes, receipts, and subscription management. BelongLog does not store full payment card numbers.
Providers receive only the information needed to perform their service and may process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Sharing
Your inventory is private by default. If you create a share link, anyone with the link and any password you set can view the included read-only inventory until the link expires or is revoked. Do not place sensitive personal information in a shared record.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.
Retention, export, and deletion
We retain account and inventory information while your account exists. You can export supported inventory data from the Report Center. You can delete your account from Settings; this removes the account's database records and stored photo objects from the active service.
Limited operational logs and backup copies may persist temporarily for security, reliability, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Security
We use signed sessions, access controls, private object storage, and security headers to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so keep independent exports of records you cannot afford to lose.
Your choices
You can correct inventory information in the app, revoke share links, export supported records, sign out, or delete your account. You can also revoke BelongLog's Google access from your Google Account and use your browser controls to limit or clear analytics cookies.
Children and policy changes
BelongLog is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
